Shaykh Huzaifah became a Hafidh at age 9 and later completed the 10 Qira’at, earning some of the shortest Ijaazah chains in the world. He was the first American to win 1st place in Voice and placed 2nd in Memorization at the world’s largest Qur’an competition in Dubai.

He studied classical Islamic texts under renowned scholars and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Islamic University of Minnesota. A commendable disciple of Sh. Saaid Bakdash Hanafi Madani, who himself is a direct student of Sh. Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah. He has also served as Qur’an Program Director and Principal at the Islamic Center of Frisco (2019) and as a Resident Scholar at the Islamic Society of Akron and Kent (2022).

Shaykh Huzaifah currently serves as President of Sufaraa, leading its mission to raise and nurture the next generation of Qur’an bearers.
